Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Economics, Statistics, Nutrition, Social Sciences, Public Health, or any related field required. Masters preferred.
  • Minimum seven years of progressively responsible experience supporting programs related to nutrition, agriculture, WASH and/or gender required.
  • Minimum five years of experience managing teams working on data collection, analysis, and reporting required.
  • Minimum five years of experience providing data collection support on food security and one or more of the following areas: income generation and diversification, maternal and child health and nutrition, WASH, agriculture, value chain, natural resource management, disaster risk reduction, and/or youth and gender engagement required.
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative field research in a non-permissive environment required.
  • Supervisory experience, including technical and administrative management of subcontractors required.
  • Familiarity with issues related to the implementation of humanitarian assistance activities for refugees and IDPs, food assistance, and food security in Sub Saharan Africa preferred.
  • Experience working on humanitarian assistance programs in the CART coverage region, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Central Africa Republic (CAR) and Republic of Congo (ROC) is preferred.
  • Experience in overseeing quality control on TPM and analytical work products required.
  • Ability to work and travel to multi-cultural environments and build effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, partners and colleagues required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, positive and approachable. 
  • Strong oral and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, attention to detail, organizational, and team management skills required.
  • Advanced language proficiency in French and English required.
