GIS Specialist, USAID/El Salvador Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in geographic information systems (GIS), geography, spatial analysis, or other relevant discipline is required. Master’s degree is desirable.
- Minimum seven years of professional-level experience in geospatial database development, design, and management, geospatial analysis, performance monitoring, and/or the analysis and interpretation of large amounts of data is required.
- Experience with USAID or other U.S. government donors, and familiarity with U.S. federal government’s rules, regulations, and policies preferred.
- Familiarity with the standards developed by the USAID Geospatial Center (GeoCenter) preferred.
- Ability to travel within El Salvador and to Nicaragua, as necessary, required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
