Junior Civil or Environmental Engineer – Irvine, CA

Requirements:

• The minimum qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in environmental engineering.
• A Master’s degree in environmental engineering with a focus on remediation is preferred, as is certification as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in California. Familiarity with permitting and technical requirements for site remediation in California is also desirable.
• Highly motivated with excellent technical writing and documentation skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, strong time management skills, and innovative
• Working knowledge of CAD, GIS and other graphical software
• Operational knowledge of computer databases and office programs (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word).
• Excellent writing and analytical skills a must.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to utilize critical thinking, a flexible approach to problem solving, excellent interpersonal communication (oral and written), planning, and organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to sometimes work long hours in the field under sometimes adverse conditions.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and have no criminal record.

Compensation:

• Salary commensurate with experience.
• Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 yr.
