Junior Civil or Environmental Engineer – Irvine, CA
Requirements:
- The minimum qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in environmental engineering.
- A Master’s degree in environmental engineering with a focus on remediation is preferred, as is certification as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in California. Familiarity with permitting and technical requirements for site remediation in California is also desirable.
- Highly motivated with excellent technical writing and documentation skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, strong time management skills, and innovative
- Working knowledge of CAD, GIS and other graphical software
- Operational knowledge of computer databases and office programs (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word).
- Excellent writing and analytical skills a must.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to utilize critical thinking, a flexible approach to problem solving, excellent interpersonal communication (oral and written), planning, and organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to sometimes work long hours in the field under sometimes adverse conditions.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and have no criminal record.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Compensation:
- Salary commensurate with experience.
- Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 yr.
