Procurement Engineer - Nuclear
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
- Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng) is an asset.
- Minimum 10 years experience in a procurement environment on nuclear projects. Other energy/utilities/power procurement experience will be considered.
- Must have full Procurement Engineering qualification from OPG.
- Good knowledge of station systems and understanding of OPG governances, procedures and processes is required.
- Experienced in working with Asset Suite 7 and other applications in the OPG space.
- Have experience with translating design basis requirements and capturing it on Cat IDs.
- Working experience of preparing/reviewing IEEs, validating BOMs, modifying AMLs, CGD Evaluations and other Technical Evaluations.
- Good understanding of all applicable codes as required (example ASME, CSA, OESC etc)
- Good understanding & knowledge of QA programs including ISO and CSA N299 standards
- Experienced in the use of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
