Tetra Tech’s High Performance Building Division is looking for a Senior Project manager for our Environmental Sciences division. The ideal candidate will perform the full range of project management duties including, but not limited to: planning & organizing, contract compliance, quality control, health & safety oversight, and effective resource management. We are looking for someone with a diverse skill set to help manage clients and projects, contribute to the technical expertise of the team, guide and mentor staff, and develop business/clients.

In this role you will:

• Provide technical and interdisciplinary team oversight including coaching of project teams, maintaining project and corporate requirements for safety, and ensuring quality control of work products. 
• Develop in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.
• Provide data management oversight and technical direction to other staff. 
• Direct and oversee facility siting/routing, permitting, environmental field surveys, resource analysis, and agency coordination, as well as budget and project tracking.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or closely related degree from an accredited University.
• Minimum of ten (10) years related consulting experience in a wide variety of areas ranging from leading and managing technical teams and project management.
• Strong technical background in siting, permitting, and evaluating environmental regulations.
• Effective organization and time management skills, able to prioritize and see tasks through to completion with minimal oversight.
• Ability to effectively communicate and motivate in team settings and across various levels of organization. Ability to travel periodically to client sites, both local and distant.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean, unrestricted driving record.
