The Position
We are looking for:
The successful candidate will work as part of the NDY Perth team and will be responsible for the delivery of building services from design through to construction. This role works with moderate autonomy, applying technical knowledge and skills as an individual contributor to teams and projects. May be required to perform the role of Project Leader when required, responsible for the delivery of small and medium sized multi-disciplinary projects.
Attributes
Ideally you will have:
· A relevant tertiary qualification combined with equivalent training, accreditation and experience
· Well developed understanding of relevant Australian Standards and National Construction Code (NCC)
· Well developed understanding of Project Stages and Delivery methods (e.g. full design, design and construct)
· Minimum 3 years mechanical engineering experience across the full project lifecycle and responsibility for delivering projects
· Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information of a complex nature both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders across multiple disciplines including colleagues and clients.
Your Offer:
- Experience and technical ability to manage resources, financial performance, and delivery of multi-discipline projects as a project coordinator, complete engineering analysis and design of HVAC systems as well as liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders. You will apply the latest technologies to our ever-expanding workload of building services. You will verify design work carried out in the business and provide mentoring, coaching, and training to less experienced engineers and project coordinators
- Strong technical background that you want to continue to build on with experience across different market sectors including health, tertiary education, and the like
- As a confident communicator who is articulate and confident in developing new and existing relationships, you will be working with like-minded individuals who are flexible in their approach to challenges, motivated, and share the ability to think laterally in delivering smart technical solutions to our clients.
Training and Development
NDY has a strong focus on the development of our staff and training will be a key element of this development whether on internal or external training courses. We will develop a career plan for each staff member that will focus on core elements of your role to provide you with a clear progression in your career path.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of projects from Healthcare facilities through to commercial office developments and retail developments, both as new build and refurbishments.
